Boy Scout Troop 881 is sponsored by St. Mark's Lutheran Church located at 5800 Backlick Rd., Springfield, Virginia. The Troop received its initial Charter from the Boy Scouts of America in 1957.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices in life by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
